Inspired by the gleaming metal Tri-Corner Bowl New Mexican sculptor Richard K. Thomas designed in 1967, designer Todd Myers created this dinnerware set in stoneware featuring three gentle, sensuous points on plates and soup bowl. Interiors are a soft-sage color and exteriors are black, like desert bushes and their midday shadows. The set consists of dinner plate, salad plate, soup bowl, and mug. The neutral sage color means foods are presented in their own appetizing colors without background distraction. As with other Nambe stoneware pieces, these items can go directly from the freezer to (not preheated) oven and may be placed in the microwave and dishwasher. The Tri-Corner dinnerware collection also includes a serving platter and a vegetable bowl.
